In 1982 T+A introduced its first series of transmission-line loudspeakers to the market. Since that time the company has continuously worked on improving this speaker concept, which is inherently superior in terms of damping and peak handling, and has brought the type to a high state of perfection.

The name CRITERION has become the synonym for high-performance loudspeakers offering extraordinarily good sound quality. TMR 160, T 160, TB 140, TAL X1.1 and TAL XM are just a few examples of T+A speakers which have set sensational new standards over many years.
