The successful CRITERION TL series has been enhanced with a new small floor standing speaker. The TS 350 is slightly smaller than its sister speaker, the TS 300, which has garnered outstanding test results, but it still features a long, fully developed transmission line. It is a two-and-a-half-way design based on two 170 mm drive units, i.e. the one driver is a pure bass unit fitted with a stiff GREYCONE® cone, and only radiates the bass range. The upper drive unit, in contrast, is designed to act as a bass / mid-range unit. This is a very sophisticated driver whose GREYCONE® cone is complemented by additional sealed damping slots, which prevent any partial oscillation and resonance.

These characteristics totally eliminate coloration and hardness in the reproduction of the important mid-range, with the result that the speaker sounds open, unrestricted and dynamic even at high levels. As in all TL loudspeakers, the TS 350 employs T+A's superb annular tweeter for the high-frequency range; this unit's very high limit frequency and dynamic range ensure silky-smooth treble reproduction with ultra-fine resolution. The sophisticated crossover unit optimises the frequency response as well as the drive units' cone travel and peak handling characteristics.
