The idea behind the WOODEN RADIO MINI is to drag radio closer to our personal range.

Meanwhile, regarding electronic advancement, the tendency is towards the compactness and miniaturization of the radio. This will give an opportunity to re-interpret the product form from a human-machine interface issue to a human-cultural icons relation. Looking at the radio as the sound/box entertaining mate, magno has transformed the idea to the essential form of radio with more changes to experiencing it as a personal man-made thing.

magno applied a non-scale button because every radio listener has their own favorite frequency or station. Part of the idea is to bring closer a more personal treatment to the user. Natural materials are also meant to give the rightness of sense toward nature.

It is recommended to care for the WOODEN RADIO MINI from time to time with a drop of pine or teak oil.

Each magno WOODEN RADIO MINI is a unique piece. It carries a serial number and the month and year of production.

The sound is rich and clear by virtue of the the built-in quality transistor radio unit and the particularly suitable wood which has been used to build the cabinet. The radio is fully handmade and is produced in the designer's workshop in Indonesia. His basic principle is that hand-crafted products give people in the village communities work thus avoiding them having to move to the mega cities. Singgih Kartono combines in a very responsible way design, ecology and the professional training of young people in his home country.

Each WOODEN RADIO MINI evolves from ecological and fair processes and thus is in accordance with our corporate mission. Therefore we are pleased to have added it to our product range even though it is not 'Made in Europe'.
